De sukkelige Marvin (Rob Schneider) wil al heel lang politieagent worden. Helaas lukt het hem maar niet op zijn droom in vervulling te laten gaan. Na zwaargewond te zijn geraakt bij een auto-ongeluk, worden er stiekem dierenorganen gebruikt om hem weer op te lappen. Dit heeft een geweldige uitwerking op Marvin! Vanaf nu heeft hij superzintuigen. Als hij dan ook nog een beroemde superagent wordt lijkt zijn leven toch nog op zijn pootjes terecht te komen. Er is alleen nog een ‘probleempje’…dat is dat hij steeds meer moeite heeft om zijn dierlijke instincten te onderdrukken.
