The two-hour opener begins a month after the plane accident that stranded Frank Scott and his sons, Karl and David, in Dinotopia. As they attempt to adjust to this new land, a renegade group, the Outsiders, discovers a mysterious amulet that allows them to control the Tyrannosaurs and the pteranodons.
