Beyond the Pale
Operations passes over Michael for Chief Strategist in favor of a smarmy Section operative by the name of Zalman, and Michael is so furious that he plots with Nikita to escape from Section One. Indeed, after stealing a Section One "Field Router" Michael and Nikita successfully disrupt a mission against new Red Cell leader Vincent Tomas, and make their escape.
