The CiNEPHiLES remux is based on the video of the Pathé 2022 4K restoration of Le Samurai. From their NFO: "The video is converted to 23.976 FPS to avoid any tempo/speed changes w.r.t the audio. Accordingly all the changes have been made to sync subs etc... Audio taken from the Criterion Blu-ray as it is the best among the sources available, while the new 4k Restoration is dual mono / with additional High pass filtering." This sub is made as follows: - Took Dutch subs Le.Samourai.1967.720p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.srt from here: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/7164060/le-samourai-nl - Applied offset of -9.88 seconds to match the Pathé video - Added 4K restoration intro text to match with Pathé video, based on the English subs provided by Pathé and translated by me.
