Okay... This took ages. I decided to start from scratch and make my own OCR of the retail SDH .PGS subs included on the American blu-ray release - subtitles which, as it turns out, are absolutely riddled with mistakes. Once OCR'ed, I gave the resulting subs a thorough going-over. First, I removed HI-descriptions along with interjections unneeded for non-HI subs (and resynced lines originally containing a mix of HI and non-HI accordingly). Then I went through the remaining lines, resyncing lines, correcting line breaks, merged certain titles, broke up other titles, fixed OCR errors and other typos, and ran the final result through a US English spellcheck. Like I said, the official subs are full of mistranscribed lines, typos, etc., so as I have yet to do an ACTUAL watch of the film from beginning to end with the subs playing, I can't guarantee that some flaws haven't slipped through the cracks. However, I hope that some of you might still find these non-HI subs useful. The subtitles are synced to fit SCARE's blu-ray rip of the American 24fps blu-ray with a runtime of 02:12:21.
