1945.a. valminud Leo McCarey kogupere jõulufilm „The Bells of St.Mary” kuulub filmiklassika kullafondi. Film oli 5-kordne Oscar’i nominant, millest võitis ühe, samuti pärjati film Kuldgloobusega ning sai lisaks veel hulgaliselt teisi auhindu. Peaosades Bing Crosby ja Ingrid Bergman. Ingrid Bergman pärjati selle rolli täitmise eest teenitult aasta parimaks näitlejaks nii Kuldgloobusega kui ka New Yorki filmikriitikute poolt.
